Meet Bryant D. Nelson

Welcome to my campaign! I am Bryant D. Nelson, and I am honored to announce my candidacy for Alderman of Ward 4 in Bellefontaine Neighbors. Having lived in Ward 4 since 2006 as a dedicated resident and property owner, I have a deep-seated commitment to our neighborhood and its future. I am running with an optimistic, community-focused vision to ensure that Bellefontaine Neighbors remains a vibrant, safe, and flourishing community for every family.

BIOGRAPHY & LEADERSHIP

Bryant Nelson brings a wealth of leadership experience to Ward 4, notably serving as the former Chairman of the Public Safety Committee. Throughout his tenure, he worked collaboratively with the Administration, Police Department, Fire District, Recreation department, and local residents to prioritize community safety and foster deep trust between local government and the citizens it serves.

With over 25 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, Bryant specializes in contract negotiations, dispute resolution, financial planning, and compliance. In his current role as a Compliance Officer, he remains dedicated to the core values of accountability, transparency, and fiscal responsibility—principles he believes are critical for the continued progress of Bellefontaine Neighbors.

Youth Opportunities

Strengthening youth opportunities in partnership with the Riverview School District, parents, and community leaders.
